Leicester manager to be offered bumper new deal

ranieriThe Leicester City fans are competing in a pool tournament in The Transfer Tavern this evening and discussing reports that the club are set to offer their manager a new deal.

The Leicester Mercury is reporting that the Premier League leaders are set to offer Claudio Ranieri a bumper new deal to fend of interest from other parties.

The news will be music to Ranieri’s ears as he envisages that Leicester will be the last club side he manages before he retires, which will probably be a long way off yet having only signed a three year deal with Leiceater last summer.

Speaking about his future, Ranieri said:

“I’m fine in Leicester and do not think about moving. I think this will be my last club. I hope they offer me a long contract, six or seven years, and then retire here.”

The Leicester fans in The Tavern are delighted that their manager wants to remain with them for a long time to come and they are thankful for him giving them the best season they have known for sometime.

Leicester fans, will Ranieri go down in your club’s history? Let us know in the comments below!
