A Posh Day Out For Leeds & Championship Preview

Round three of the Championship begins tonight, as Bolton take on Nottingham Forest at the Reebok Stadium. Tomorrow will see the rest of the 24 teams competing with some tasty fixtures to keep an eye on.

Leeds United head to London Road to face Peterborough United, in what is always an exciting encounter. Leeds United left it until the death last time around winning 3-2 in the dying minutes.

Blackburn Rovers face another stern test in the form of Leicester City. Nigel Pearson will be hoping Leicester City can change their inconsistent ways as they head to troubled Blackburn Rovers. Birmingham City travel to Gianfranco Zola’s Watford hoping to improve on a poor start to the season which has seen them pick up one point from a possible six.

Other fixtures include Huddersfield v Burnley, Charlton v Hull, Middlesbrough v Crystal Palace, Bristol City v Cardiff and Blackpool v Ipswich.

Leeds United have suffered another painful week, with signs of little investment for players forthcoming, the Mighty Whites will head to London Road in the hope they can cheer the spirits up of a trodden fan base.
