While Leicester fans couldn’t ask for much better performances on the pitch this season, a lot of them certainly aren’t as happy with the social media team.
The Foxes have had a terrific start to the campaign. After 12 league games, they have the best defensive record in the division, the second most amount of goals scored and sit second in the Premier League while playing exciting football.
With the club seemingly looking to expand their reach to a bigger audience, they have announced that they are now on social media platform TikTok – and some fans don’t like it one bit.
For those that don’t know, TikTok is a social video app that allows users to share short videos. The app uses stickers, filters and augmented reality to separate itself from the rest and even beat Instagram and Snapchat to being the fourth most downloaded app in 2018, per the BBC.
It seems many Leicester fans just want the club to stick to football. Many replies flooded in, with some asking the club to delete the tweet, while another joked that they would concede their Champions League place because of it.
