Leicester City: Fans desperate to draw Derby County in FA Cup fourth round

Several Leicester City fans are eager to see the Foxes take on rivals Derby County in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

The East Midlands sides will both be in this evening’s draw after overcoming their third-round opponents over the weekend.

Leicester had no trouble taking their Premier League form into the domestic cup competition after they were able to beat Wigan Athletic 2-0, while Derby managed to knockout top-flight outfit Crystal Palace with a 1-0 win at Selhurst Park.

Their last two meetings actually came in the FA Cup when they were drawn against each other in the fourth round back in 2017. A 2-2 draw was played out at Pride Park before Leicester went on to win a replay 3-1 at the King Power (via 11v11).

Should their paths cross again, spectators could be in store for a battle between two former England strikers in Jamie Vardy and Wayne Rooney, with the latter now eligible to play for the Rams following his move from DC United.
