Many Leicester City fans have responded on Twitter to the news that James Maddison has pulled out of the England squad through illness.
The 22-year-old was picked to play for England over the international break as they travel to the Czech Republic and Bulgaria for two Euro 2020 qualifiers.
Maddison is still yet to appear for England despite his excellent form at club level.
The Leicester midfielder has been having a fantastic season for his club, chipping in with the equalising goal against Liverpool on the weekend, though it was not enough to stop the Reds winning all three points, with a last-minute penalty sealing the win.
There was a mixed response from fans, with some offering get well messages as well as others suggesting that his one eye on Ireland.
