Leicester City: Fans react to Wilfred Ndidi’s impressive stats

Many Leicester City fans have talked up Wilfred Ndidi after a fan account tweeted some impressive stats from the midfielder.
According to @TheLCFCStatMan, Wilfred Ndid has the most tackles won (35) and most interceptions (26) in the whole league after eight games.
While the source is not referenced, WhoScored does back up the data by saying he has five tackles per game as well as 3.7 interceptions per match, which when you times by seven gives you the correct figures.
In fact, only Aaron Wan-Bissaka averages more tackles than him per match with 5.2 in the whole division – though he has fewer tackles overall due to only playing six games.
In terms of interceptions, Ndidi appears to be in a league of his own, with Etienne Capoue the next closest with 3.3 per match.
Ndidi, still just 22, joined the club in 2017 for just £15m (The Guardian) – a fee which now looks tuppence for a player who is now worth £31.5m according to Transfermarkt.

He's already been best tackler for the last 2 seasons, he's going for a 3rd straight season with most tackles in the PL👊
