Many Leicester City fans have shown their respect to Jamie Vardy after he won the Premier League Player of the Month award for October.
The 32-year-old had a terrific month, scoring four times in three games as he side beat Burnley 2-1, Southampton 9-0 – where he scored a hat-trick – and Crystal Palace 2-0.
Who has been Leicester's best player this season?
The sharp finisher turns 33 in January, but he is showing no signs of dropping off the boil at Premier League level – he is currently the top scorer in the whole division after 11 matches with 10 goals.
The attacker was voted for by fans and beat the likes of Jack Grealish, Willian and Youri Tielemans, who also had a great month.
The good performances have even put his England future back into the light. With England having a Euros on the horizon, surely this in-form Jamie Vardy would be able to make the squad. Vardy had previously retired from international football, however, Gareth Southgate this week has admitted to ‘monitoring’ the forward, as per the BBC.
Many fans expressed their delight for the forward, as you can see from the responses below…
Very deserved. Incredible month for one of the best strikers in the world.
