The Leicester fans within the Transfer Tavern are excited to see what the future holds for their team as already they have started to make improvements this summer.

The Foxes will be happy with their early business, having secured the signatures of James Maddison, Ricardo Pereira and Jonny Evans thus far. Our punters are extremely happy with that start but know those three players might not be enough to launch a European push, hence why our punters also want Leicester to pursue Leander Dendoncker, who is valued at £15.3 million on Transfermarkt.

The 23-year-old enjoyed a successful season again with Belgian side Anderlecht, even captaining his side for some of their matches in the last few games. In total he made 44 appearances across all competitions, something which proves his quality and also his fitness, never getting injured and always being ready to play.

Dendoncker has the ability to play as a central-midfielder or even at centre-back, either way providing a big impact on this team. Leicester have massive quality in midfield with Wilfried N'didi, Vicente Iborra and Adrien Silva in particular, however defensively, the Foxes could strengthen on Wes Morgan and the released Robert Huth by adding a player capable of playing well in both positions.

The Belgian international has been a target for a number of teams in recent months but finally he could get his move to the Premier League courtesy of Leicester City, who are desperate to add even more squad quality so Claude Puel has the tools needed to take them nearer the European spaces.
