Leicester City must look at creative £13.5m-rated La Liga midfielder to help challenge for Europe

The Leicester fans in the Transfer Tavern have begun to settle down under manager Claude Puel and after another steady season, the Foxes will be looking to add some new faces for their bid to get back into Europe.

The season has really died out as far as Leicester are concerned so this could already prove to be a good time to scout around and see which new players could come in and improve the team. The Foxes right now have a solid team but lack a bit in squad depth, something they’re hoping is recognised this summer.

A player that could help add more quality to their midfield is La Liga midfielder Daniel Wass, who is valued at £13.50 million on Transfermarkt. The 28-year-old has again been a class act for Celta Vigo this season, scoring 4 goals and getting 7 assists in 33 appearances thus far.

Wass can play as an attacking midfielder or alternatively on the right-hand side, either way, Wass has the ability to cause the opposition problems. Leicester don’t really have a proper attacking midfielder within their ranks so as well as adding to squad depth, Wass will provide an element of quality being able to feed strikers in behind.

The 28-year-old has endured a successful time out in Spain and with the Dane not getting any younger, a desirable move to the Premier League now would work well for both parties we believe.

Landlord’s Verdict:

Leicester seem a team just short of quality to challenge for Europe at the moment but even with the signing of Daniel Wass alone, the Foxes would already have taken a step to making themselves a better side. The Foxes here in the Tavern are desperate for some excitement and the summer arrival of a talented schemer would certainly get pulses racing.
