Leicester City star Ricardo Pereira produced yet another sumptuous display against Aston Villa on Sunday, leading Bleacher Report’s Sam Tighe to hail the defender’s ‘masterclass’.
The Foxes brushed Aston Villa aside quite comfortably in the end, cruising to a 4-1 victory courtesy of goals from Jamie Vardy, Jonny Evans and Kelechi Iheanacho.
Vardy will take all the headlines as he closes in on his own record of scoring in consecutive Premier League games, but Pereira shone yet again as well.
Indeed, the Portugal international registered a 7.87 out of 10 rating on Whoscored, and he has now gone 11 matches without rating below 7 out of 10. Tighe was quick to hail the new King Power favourite.
Another masterclass today, despite nearly having his leg broken.
Ricardo Pereira's level has been consistently sky high for ~18 months. Incredible player. https://t.co/uPyl4oil8f

Pereira won an incredible 18 out of 29 duels in the match, per Sofascore. The next closest player was Jack Grealish, who won 13 out of 20.
His combative performance, combined with two key passes and one big chance created, ensured it was yet another near-flawless day at the office for the man valued at £27m by Transfermarkt.
Is this Leicester side better than 2015/16?
