The Leicester City fans who are gathered at the bar in The Football Transfer Tavern are having a couple of celebratory pints of TT Ale upon hearing news the club have signed a new forward.
According to a report from BBC Sport the Premier League champions have confirmed the signing of CSKA Moscow striker, Ahmed Musa.
The Nigerian international joins the club for a club record fee of £16m and has signed a four-year-deal following a successful medical this morning.
The striker decided to make the move to England following a successful campaign in Russia helping CSKA to the title last season.
He rejected interest from fellow Premier League sides Everton, Southampton and West Ham United in favour of a move to the King Power Stadium.
The 23-year-old spent four years with with the Russian side and managed to score 54 times in 168 appearances, gaining invaluable Champions League experience on the way.
He becomes Claudio Ranieri’s fourth summer signing following Ron-Robert Zieler, Luis Hernandez and Nampalys Mendy to the King Power Stadium.
