Any news thrown the way of Leicester fans here in The Football Transfer Tavern, whether good or bad, is met with the same reaction; “don’t care, we’re champions” – Kante leaving was upsetting but it doesn’t bother them, they’ve had their time, so this latest news will not cause much trouble.
Sky Sports are reporting that Leicester City striker and Premier League winner, Leonardo Ulloa, has told the club he wants to leave.
The Argentinian made 33 appearances last year, with most of them coming from the bench.
This news follows reports earlier this month that Swansea City are interested in the 29-year-old, with talk of a £10m bid from the Welsh club.
The Swans fear top strikers Gomis and Andre Ayew could be about to leave this summer, and will look to The Foxes’ third striker, a man who has scored 17 goals in the Premier League over 2 seasons, as a potential replacement.
Behind top scorer Jamie Vardy and Japanese international Shinji Okazaki in the pecking order, it is likely Ulloa will be looking for first team football next season.
The former Brighton man made the move to the King Power for a fee of £8m in 2014.
