According to Yahoo Brazil, Leicester City are weighing up a deal for the Gremio player Walace with our resident Foxes here in the Transfer Tavern hoping he can be their next big star.
They have not had the best title defence this season with them, on the whole, lacking that desire and verve that served them so well last year.
Indeed, Claudio Ranieri’s men have focused on the Champions League instead but now they are in the knockout stages which do not commence until next year, many expect them to push on with their league campaign.
Certainly, the early signs are that they will do just that after they blitzed Manchester City 4-2 last weekend and now it seems as though they are ready to do business to further bolster their squad.
The report claims that Walace’s representative Roger Braun has met with the club to try and get a deal over the line thought to be worth €10 million (£8.4 million,) and our landlord here in the Transfer Tavern thinks that’d be a great signing.
The young Brazilian is only 21-years-old and has plenty of potential to improve should he join the Foxes.
