Leicester opened their 2019/20 season with a 0-0 draw against Wolves, although it could have been worse, as the newly implemented VAR ruled out a goal for the visitors, and a lot of the Foxes believe that it’s a goal that should have stood.
VAR to the rescue!

Leicester City will have to be a lot better if they’re to claim the title of the best of the rest this season and finish 7th or higher, as against Wolves they could only manage two shots on target despite their 70% possession, Transfermarkt.
The Foxes only survived with a point because of the intervention of VAR, as Leander Dendoncker fired in from a corner before it was adjudged that Willy Boly had handled the ball in the build-up. It was a decision that even the home fans didn’t agree with, although they’ll be pleased to have their first point on the board.

When it goes for you VAR is great, but when it goes against you it’s not. Personally I think it was a bit soft but there has to be clear rules set out, whether its accidental or not. As a comparison, a knock on in rugby that’s reviewed by VAR is a knock on even if it’s accidental

Call the police, wolves were robbed. On the balance of play neither team deserved 3 pts I believe we will be better against Chelsea where we have more room

For what its worth, I think the new rule is a joke. If that Wolves goal today is ‘iligitemate’ then we are in big trouble. Id be fuming as a Wolves fan today.
