Leicester fans react to Vicente Iborra’s Carabao Cup display

Leicester City supporters have been in fine voice in recent times after seeing their side get back to winning ways in the Premier League at the weekend.

Claude Puel’s men went into their meeting with lowly Huddersfield Town off the back of successive defeats at the hands of Bournemouth and Liverpool, and thus in need of a response at the King Power Stadium on Saturday. And they responded very well indeed as goals from Kelechi Iheanacho, James Maddison, and Jamie Vardy helped the Foxes come from behind to seal a 3-1 victory over David Wagner’s Terriers, a result which moved Leicester up to ninth place in the Premier League table.

Thus, there have been many thrilled Foxes fans up and down the country in recent times, several of whom have taken to Twitter in recent times to sing the praises of midfielder Vicente Iborra for his performance against Wolves in the Carabao Cup last night.

The 30-year-old made the move to the King Power Stadium back in 2017 after four years in Spain with Sevilla, yet he hasn’t always been a regular at the Midlands outfit in mustering just 28 appearances for the Foxes.

Yet the Spaniard was given a chance by manager Puel to impress at Molineux on Tuesday night, and he certainly impressed several Leicester fans, with plenty of them going mad on Twitter at the masterclass the midfielder produced against Nuno Espirito Santo’s side…
