Leicester: Fans were shocked by Brendan Rodgers’ much-changed line-up against West Ham

A lot of Leicester fans were left stunned by the team selected by Brendan Rodgers for their trip to east London this evening.
The Foxes manager made nine changes to his starting XI for today’s visit to West Ham from the Boxing Day defeat to Liverpool, with less than 48 hours between the kick-off times for those matches.
Kasper Schmeichel and Jonny Evans were the only two players to keep their places from Thursday’s loss to the Premier League leaders, with James Justin, Wes Morgan and Nampalys Mendy coming in for their first league starts of the season. The line-up was confirmed by Leicester’s official Twitter channel @LCFC an hour before kick-off.
First team regulars Caglar Soyuncu, Ben Chilwell, Wilfred Ndidi, Youri Tielemans and James Maddison were all named among the substitutes, while top scorer Jamie Vardy was omitted from the squad entirely as he was with his wife on the day that she gave birth to the couple’s third child (as per @LCFC on Twitter).
Despite the hectic festive fixture schedule and the understandable absence of Vardy, these Leicester fans on Twitter were still astonished by Rodgers’ team selection for the trip to London Stadium:
Are you kidding me lol seriously I can’t deal with this line up
