Leicester given huge financial boost as they look to save season

If our Leicester City fans were dreaming here in the Transfer Tavern last season, they are surely having a nightmare this time around but The Telegraph suggests things might be about to improve.

The Foxes won the league, of course, last year but have struggled domestically this time around and an amazing relegation could be on the cards if they don’t improve sharpish.

They’ve looked well below their pacey and attacking best and have instead looked laboured and slack so Claudio Ranieri really needs to pull something out of the bag to get them to safety.

Fortunately for him, though, it appears he’s going to be given over £30 million in January to bring in new players and help them get up the league table.

The Foxes are still in the Champions League this season and will be resuming those engagements in the coming months so this time in the season is crucial if they want to stay up.

Our landlord agrees and thinks that if they are not relatively safe by February we could be about to see a far more negative story surrounding the club come May.

Is £30 million enough, Foxes fans? Let us know below!
