Leicester must try and persuade £13.5m-rated forward to stay at the club this summer

The Leicester fans in and around the Transfer Tavern are hopeful that judging by their fast start to the transfer window, that is a sign of intent for next years Premier League season.

Having secured another top 10 finish last season, the Foxes are already moving forward with their team this summer in the hope they can push on further, doing what Burnley did for example where they finished in the Europa League spot. They have the players and the money to do so but someone already on their books in the name of Ahmed Musa, (who is valued at £13.5 million on Transfermarkt) is a player that our punters believe should be given another go at the King Power Stadium.

Musa was on-loan at CSKA Moscow last season, where he impressed for the Russian side and bagged 9 goals and 6 assists to show his contribution to the team. The 25-year-old forward has explosive pace and if he got accustomed to the Premier League, his qualities could cause significant problems for other teams in the league. Currently with Nigeria at the World Cup, Leicester should be watching his progress to see if his performances give any sign that he should be given another chance with Leicester.

After all, Leicester paid around £17 million for Musa back in the summer of 2016, based of the fact he scored 18 goals and assisted his team-mates 6 times as well. Musa still has the potential to be an important player for the Foxes in this new season and given the correct opportunities, Musa could show Leicester why they were wrong initially to send him out on loan.
