Peltier Picture Perfect Warnock’s Sensibility & Nouse Perfect For Leeds

Leeds United are said to be close to finalising a deal for Leicester City full back Lee Peltier.

The pacy right back could well be the final piece in the defensive jigsaw for Neil Warnock, as the Liverpudlian could be set to join a back four of Paddy Kenny, Adam Drury, Jason Pearce and Tom Lees.

Neil Warnock has delivered a promise he made to Derby County manager Nigel Clough last season. The 63 year old told Clough to ‘enjoy this, because you will never see a Leeds team like this again while I’m here’ after Derby County beat a well below par Leeds United last season; a promise that has been kept with a whole heap of goings on in transfer world.

A total revamp has took place under Neil Warnock, with more additions in the pipeline. Craig Mackail-Smith is a likely candidate for ‘new kid’ with Lee Peltier seemingly close to following, with Leeds United fans delighted someone with pace and years ahead of him could well be ready to join.

Neil Warnock finished last season with a puzzle that just didn’t fit, struggling to find the four corners that fundamentally make the jigsaw work, Neil Warnock has worked day and night to produce in my eyes a hard to beat squad.

The gaffer oozes the sensibility and tactical nouse to produce a team worthy of challenging for Championship gold this season. Getting rid of the likes of Billy Paynter and Andy O’Brien, could finally put an end to some farcical signings that even our own fans have to joke about.

Mr Warnock, keep Ross McCormack and continue to bring in fresh talent, and I for one will be more than happy with your wheeling and dealing.

Leeds United could finally be prepared for life back in the Premier League!
