As quoted by The Daily Mail, Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri is unsure when summer signing and Polish international Bartosz Kapustka will actually make his Premier League debut.
The Italian’s comments have certainly raised a few eye-brows amongst our Foxes fans here in the Transfer Tavern with them unimpressed with both the player and their manager.
They feel this way about the former because he simply hasn’t got anywhere near adapting to Premier League life in his time at the club, so far whilst Ranieri is also drawing criticism.
The Foxes fans think he should have a better idea of when the player will be ready whilst he should also be held slightly accountable for even signing the player in the first place.
The former Chelsea boss said: “Kapustka is a good player, getting better, but I don’t know when he will be ready to play in the Premier League.
“He is intelligent, he plays well, but he has to understand the Premier League is a battle in every ball.”
The Foxes have reflected this lack of organisation on the pitch this season in the league.
Their title defence is floundering badly and they are currently just two points above the relegation with them evidently prioritising the Champions League.
They have now qualified for the knock-out stages of the competition, though, so the hope will now be that they can start turning things around on the domestic front.
