Leicester City have shown that they have a lot of quality in attack this season, with Ayoze Perez just one dangerous weapon currently at Brendan Rodgers' disposal.

According to Transfermarkt, the 26-year-old has a market valuation of £27m at present, up from what is was in June 2019 by £9m. And it would be hard to argue that he is not worth that right now.

In the Foxes' squad, only Jamie Vardy (19) has scored more goals in the Premier League than Perez (seven). The Spaniard has also managed to register four assists, one more than James Maddison and two less than Harvey Barnes, who currently leads in that department.

The above is impressive, especially given the fact that Perez ranks sixth and seventh in Leicester's ranks when it comes to shots and key passes made per league game (via WhoScored).

Ultimately, it has been a strong campaign from Perez, who caught the attention of former Newcastle United forward Alan Shearer back in January.

Following Leicester's 4-1 win over West Ham, the Premier League legend included Perez in his Team of the Week, praising the attacker for stepping up after Vardy's withdrawal from the game due to injury.

Taking all of that into account, you would have to say that Perez is justifying the market valuation that Transfermarkt have given him.
