Watford fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are torn as they are bickering over what price they should sell Troy Deeney for after they turn down another hefty bid from Leicester.
According to the MailOnline, the Hornets are staying strong and have not given into the Foxes latest attempt to sign their captain Troy Deeney, despite their £25 million bid.
This is the second bid they’ve rejected and they are adamant he is not for sale are turning down an initial offer of £20 million.
Plenty of people in the Tavern believed if the Premier League champions came in with a £25 million offer, then it would be accepted, but now Claudio Ranieri is mulling over a £30 million bid.
The 27-year old is a pivotal part of the Hertfordshire’s plans moving forward after a solid season at Vicarage Road and the Hornets could reportedly offer him a bumper new deal to stay with the club.
Something with could drive up the price is the fact that Walsall will be collecting 20 per cent of transfer fee.
