Levy and Man United dreams could become reality if Chelsea lose their star man

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are deeply concerned by rumours concerning their indispensable Belgian star Eden Hazard…

Antonio Conte’s side have started the season impressively, but not impressively enough to convince The Blues contingent propping up the bar that they will successfully defend their Premier League title this season. Manchester City have stormed into an early lead at the top of the table and left Chelsea in their wake thus far, but everybody concerned with both clubs will know that the season is long and full of twists and turns.

If Chelsea are to catch Manchester City this season, they will need Eden Hazard to be at his imperious best throughout the season.

Much to the dismay of the Chelsea fans in the tavern, this season could well be his last in Chelsea blue, if reports in The Times that claim he is a summer target for Real Madrid prove to be true.

To compound the misery for the Chelsea supporters, Hazard’s arrival at Madrid could spell the end of the ‘BBC’ era at Los Blancos and pave the way for Gareth Bale and to make sensational returns to the Premier League.

ESPN have already linked Madrid with Liverpool’s Mo Salah in recent weeks, which suggests the Champions League holders are planning on revamping their front-line in the near-future.

It is no secret that Tottenham fans (as has been linked) would be ecstatic to welcome Bale back to the club where he established himself as one of Europe’s top players, and the same can certainly be said for Manchester United, who’ve been linked with the Welshman for an age.

Bale’s injury problems in recent years have plagued his career in Madrid, and providing Zinedine Zidane can land a worthy replacement for the Welshman, the door will surely be wide open for him to return to Tottenham next summer.

The fact that Real Madrid have expressed interest in Hazard and Salah in recent weeks heavily suggests the dreams of both the Red Devils and the Lilywhites could come true next summer with the transfers of their former club legends.
