Tottenham Hotspur left it late to secure all three points against PSV Eindhoven last week, but they’ve been going on strong in the Premier League this season.
The Lilywhites are still in with a chance of challenging for the title and could even force an issue in Europe if they can manage to beat the likes of Inter Milan and Barcelona in their remaining Champions League group games.
However, the London club have plenty of other things to worry about besides silverware and success, with there being potential departures in the January transfer window.
Mauricio Pochettino has a number of underperforming players at the club at this moment in time and needs to make more room for any potential January additions, so it’s about time he and Daniel Levy worked together to get rid of any wasted talent.
With that in mind, Pochettino and Levy must shift this flop in January…
The Kenyan international has only made a handful of appearances for Spurs this season in what is set to be another disappointing campaign, unless he departs in January.
Pochettino and Levy simply must get rid of wasted players like Victor Wanyama that serve no purpose in North London anymore, with the opportunity to bring in quality additions after a disappointing summer.
With the likes of Eric Dier, Harry Winks, Mousa Dembele and Moussa Sissoko already at the club, it has been impossible for the disappointing 27-year-old to work his way into the side.
