Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern will be concerned that the could lose a number of key men this summer, however, they may have been given a boost in regards to one of their most influential figures.
Real Madrid are looking for a replacement for Zinedine Zidane, who confirmed last week that he would leave the Spanish giants and Mauricio Pochettino has been linked as a possible target.
However, a report by the Daily Mail could give the locals in the bar some news that they would be delighted with. According to the media outlet, Florentino Perez is not prepared to enter lengthy discussions with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, whilst the Argentine has also made it clear he will not try and force his way out of the club.
The Spurs boss has only just signed a new five-year deal and the Tottenham locals will be revealed that he did before the job at Real Madrid became available. It is believed there is no release clause for the Argentine, which would mean that Levy could demand what he wanted from the Spanish side to let him go.
Pochettino will likely be a target for the La Liga giants in the future once again, however, the Tottenham fans will be delighted that they should be able to keep their main man this summer.
