‘Levy get the cheque book out’ – Tottenham fans on Twitter demand January raid of PL rival

The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping their side can record a fourth- straight victory in the Premier League when they face West Ham this evening.

Mauricio Pochettino welcomes David Moyes and his West Ham side to Wembley this evening knowing that a victory will take them within one point of 4th-placed Liverpool. But the Spurs boss will need to be wary of the travelling Hammers who have already recorded victory against his side at Wembley in a Carabao cup tie earlier this season.

Tottenham would have fully expected to be sitting within the top-four places at this stage in the campaign, but the increasingly competitive nature of the Premier League has made life tough for the Lilywhites this season.

With that being said, it is likely that Pochettino will be in the market for new signings during the mid-season window to ensure they qualify for the Champions League, and the Spurs supporters have already begun to identify the targets they want their club to pursue.

One name who is on the lips of plenty of supporters at this moment in time is Crystal Palace winger Wilfired Zaha.

Zaha has been pivotal to Palace’s revival under Roy Hodgson this season, and his performances for The Eagles have certainly warranted interest from some of the top teams in English football.

And his impact in South-London certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed by the Lilywhites on Twitter who have gathered in numbers to call for his signature this month.
