According to The Telegraph, Rafa Benítez could leave Newcastle this summer if the club do not make any signings.

The Champions League manager has been discontent at St James' Park for a while now given his stalemate with owner Mike Ashley.

With that in mind, here are two managers that could replace the Spaniard in the northeast:

Slaven Bilić

Many West Ham fans would say that the Croatian Slaven Bilić was unfairly dismissed from The Hammers in November 2017. The manager had done a wonderful job at the London Stadium, and a minor blip cost him his job.

Currently at Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Ittihad, he could surely be lured back to the Premier League with a challenge like Newcastle. Benítez has been accused at times for being too conservative as a manager, whereas Bilić will surely try and play a more positive style of football.

Brendan Rodgers

Since his departure from Liverpool in 2015, Brendan Rodgers has had to rebuild his career at Celtic. Then again he has done a very good job with The Bhoys. A winner of a historic double treble in Scotland, the Northern Irishman has produced one of the most dominant Celtic sides in history.

However, Rodgers would surely want another bite of the cherry in the Premier League to redeem his name, and The Magpies may offer the perfect place for him to do so.

However, Rodgers has butted heads already with the board at Celtic this season regarding their lack of signings. It is very unlikely that things would be any different with Newcastle.
