According to The Independent, Paris Saint-Germain are willing to triple Raheem Sterling’s wages in an attempt to lure him to the French capital.
The 19-year-old is reportedly on a £43,000-a-week contract which has two years remaining but compared to his team-mates, Sterling is earning considerably less despite being a key asset to the team.
Liverpool are planning to offer the England international an extra £20,000-a-week which would increase his weekly salary to £63,000 with added bonuses on top.
Liverpool fans fear that losing Sterling would see them struggle and ultimately not qualify for the Champions League which would really set them back financially, leaving them further behind their rivals.
Since the departure of Luis Suarez, the Jamaican-born youngster has shown great maturity and has stepped into very big shoes left by the Uruguayan.
Although the punters in the tavern are certain that if the Englishman was to leave Anfield, he would go tot Real Madrid.
But they truly hope he doesn’t leave the Premier League as he is a wonderful talent and he still has a lot of time to develop further.
For England to truly benefit from both his ability and his potential, it remains imperative that he stays in the Premier League.
