Liverpool ace craving departure

suarez.jpgHere at the Football Transfer Tavern, Liverpool fans are not looking very impressed as it is claimed by the Daily Mail that Luis Suarez wants the club to understand his situation and let him leave.

The forward feels that if a club like Real Madrid or even Barcelona were to come calling for him, Liverpool would be obliged to let him at least talk with the sides and look to end the spell he has spent in the Premier League.

Suarez of course came with a troublesome tag and has lived up to that reputation since his arrival in English football. What he has also done however is prove time and time again that he is one of the best forwards around and interest from the La Liga giants is only natural.

Even without his ‘troubles’ with the media, one punter quips that Suarez would be looking for a move away from the club who do not look like getting Champions League football anytime soon and we have to agree with that. Given the forward has now claimed that: “First I have a contract with the club, but if one day I want to sign (for another club), Liverpool will hear the offer, as it does with other players.

“They must agree with other teams, but the word of the player, in this case mine, is important. If you need a change, you should listen to the player.

“Every player aspires (to be the best) and if you ask a child of eight years they would say one day they would go to Real Madrid or Barcelona.”

Liverpool of course have stuck by the player through thick and thin and even defended the forward when other clubs may well have thrown the book at him. Quite what Brendan Rodgers will think of these latest comments remains to be seen.
