The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern often tell us that the future looks bright.
Liverpool currently have a number of talented youngsters on their bench, including the likes of Sheyi Ojo, Harry Wilson, Ryan Kent, Dominic Solanke and Joe Gomez.
It now looks like Jurgen Klopp is looking to the future again as he chases a young Championship starlet.
According to The Mirror, Liverpool are the latest club to express an interest in signing Sheffield United wide man David Brooks.
Sheffield United winger David Brooks has caught the eye this season with some impressive performances down the flanks.
His displays have helped the Blades climb up the Championship and he was recently crowned man of the match in the highly anticipated Steel City derby victory over bitter rivals Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.
This has enhanced the 20-year-old’s growing reputation and he has just earned his first call-up to the senior Wales squad.
David Brooks signed a new contract with Sheffield United earlier this year after joining their youth set-up from Manchester City in 2014.
The diminutive winger, who stands at 5ft 5in, is now on the radar of Liverpool with Sheffield United bracing themselves for January bids.
