Arsenal and Liverpool fans in the Football Transfer Tavern have desperately been seeking convincing goalkeeping reinforcements for years and talkSPORT reveal that they can capture Mexico’s World Cup star Guillermo Ochoa for just £4 million.
Ochoa joined Malaga in August following his standout performances at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Both Premier League clubs are still keen on the Mexican international and the Spanish club have set an asking price of £4 million with experienced stopper Carlos Kameni also at La Rosaleda.
Ochoa is now 30-years-old and will be available to leave at the end of the season after struggling to make an impact at the Andalusian club.
Neither club have contacted Malaga over a potential move but are still said to be interested after his influential performances in Brazil.
Punters believe that although he may not have instrumental in La Liga, he could well be a star in the Premier League with Wojciech Szczesny and Simon Mignolet’s long-term futures unclear.
Arsenal and Liverpool fans. Would the signing of Ochoa represent an upgrade on both Szczesny or Mignolet? Let us know your thoughts below.
