Liverpool and Man United target ready to move in January

BigliaLiverpool and Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are rubbing their hands together in anticipation, after hearing reports that suggest a prime target is ready to move in the New Year.

Talksport, via Fichajes, state that Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia is ready to leave Rome in January to achieve his aspirations of regular Champions League football.

The 29-year-old Argentine is highly-coveted and the developments bring good news to three interested clubs; Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Biglia has impressed with Lazio this season, netting three goals in eight Serie A appearances, but is hungry for Champions League football that his current side cannot offer.

Lazio are not in this season’s competition and seem unlikely to achieve the top-three finish they would need this term to qualify for next year’s Champions League; as they face competition from the likes of Juventus, Inter Milan, Roma, Fiorentina and Napoli.

As such, Liverpool and Manchester United are now expected to ready bids in an attempt to bring the player to the Premier League- but the Red Devils may have the advantage, as they can seal their spot in the knockout stages of the Champions League this evening.

Liverpool fans by the jukebox claim the midfield star would get more first-team football at Anfield though, which many United fans agree with.

Where would Biglia be better suited, Liverpool or United? Let us know in the comments below!
