According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, both Liverpool and West Ham are interested in signing Dynamo Kiev’s in form striker Lukasz Teodorczyk.
Our resident Reds and Hammers fans here in the Transfer Tavern are always unsure about how to feel when they are linked with a relatively unknown name as both clubs have a history of signing some pretty poor players.
Indeed, we’ve only seen this year that West Ham can get it wrong spectacularly with the likes of Simone Zaza and Jonathan Callieri offering next to nothing to their cause this season.
However, when you look at the Polish international’s stats this campaign you can see why he could be a decent acquisition after all.
He has an incredible 20 goals from 24 appearances so far this season whilst on loan at Belgian side Anderlecht and that kind of return cannot simply be dismissed no matter what the level of football.
Indeed, it would certainly give the Hammers a bigger threat going forward whilst those numbers would surely swell at Anfield with the attacking football the Reds play.
Our landlord thinks one of them should definitely take a punt on him, too, simply because of how potent he’s been this year.
