Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are intrigued to hear reports that suggest they’ve joined the hunt for an experienced former Premier League man, who’s tipped to return to England this summer.
Turkish outlet Fanatik state Liverpool are the latest club to express an interest in bringing Portuguese winger Nani back to the Premier League from Fenerbache, who he only joined last summer.
Nani’s agent recently confirmed the winger will be leaving the Turkish giants this summer and it’s reported Liverpool will face competition for the player’s services from two direct rivals, as Manchester United and Everton want his signature.
The 29-year-old has displayed his talents once again on the international stage, scoring two goals at Euro 2016 as Portugal advanced from Group F in third-place, and he has a strong record in the Premier Leage, having made over 200 appearances with the Red Devils previously.
Our landlord believes that the former United man could return to Old Trafford, due to his links with the club and the impact of compatriot Jose Mourinho.
Which club should Nani join? Let us know in the comments below!
