Liverpool become the latest club to take an interest in Jack Clarke

Liverpool have become just one of the latest top Premier League clubs to have taken an interest in one of the Championship’s most exciting talents.

According to a report by Football Insider, the Reds are plotting a move for Leeds United’s Jack Clarke.

It is understood that Liverpool are now the latest Premier League outfit to have taken a showing to the teenager who has had a rapid rise through the academy ranks.

The 18-year-old is already believed to have attracted interest from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City with his performances in Marcelo Bielsa’s senior side.

Clarke has made six appearances in the first-team so far this season and has had a real impact in the Whites’ charge for promotion to the Premier League under the Argentine manager.

The Verdict:

Clarke is certainly one of the players to watch in the future and Liverpool could look to develop him further if they were to try and sign him.

Jurgen Klopp’s side will have a huge amount of competition to try and land him though, with the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea also thought to be interested as well.

Leeds will want to do all they can to keep their rising star at Elland Road, however, if a club like Liverpool come calling, it could be difficult to keep him in Yorkshire.
