Liverpool boss ‘going nowhere’

Rodgers.jpgLiverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern were in a grumpy mood today, despite the 3-2 victory over Aston Villa, as the tables seemed to turn on their under-pressure manager.

Brendan Rodgers is leading the Premier League sack-race after a woeful start to the season, which has left the Reds Champions League credentials on thin ice, but The Daily Mail state the under-fire boss is going nowhere.

That’s from the man himself, who is adamant he won’t quite amongst the links to Carlo Ancelotti and Jurgen Klopp, but the Reds hierarchy may have other ideas.

A defeat to Manchester United, draw at home to Norwich City and then requiring penalties to defeat Carlisle United in the League Cup left the Northern Irishman staring down the barrel of the gun- but the victory over Villa may buy him some time.

After Daniel Sturridge’s brace today, Rodgers skin as been saved and we’re sure many celebratory pints will be order as the Reds fans celebrate a much-needed victory.

Liverpool fans, is there any way Brendan Rodgers can redeem himself at the club?
