Liverpool boss reveals major decision

Liverpool have improved drastically under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp and the fans in the Transfer Tavern are optimistic that the German can turn them into winners once again.

The former Borussia Dortmund and Mainz boss has established himself as a cult-hero on Merseyside, and is widely regarded to be one of the best young managers in the world, but the 49-year-old has suggested this could be his last job in management.

Having arrived in the Premier League in October 2015, Klopp told German outlet Sport1 that this could be his last position- as he doesn’t want to finish his career with a long-list of employers.

“I will not have been in charge of 10 different clubs once my managerial career is over. There is a not insignificant chance I will have coached three clubs. I would say it is very unlikely I will become a club-hopper all of a sudden.”

“On the contrary, it is always quite easy for me to fully commit to what I am doing because they are often long-term projects.”

Fortunately, Liverpool fans don’t have to worry about a major change immediately as Klopp is intent on seeing out the duration of his contract, which runs until 2022, and is confident of winning trophies at Anfield.

“If I fulfil my contract with Liverpool, then there is a good chance I will have won something here. I could be in an uncomfortable situation if we do not win anything. People expect Liverpool to win trophies.”

Klopp’s Liverpool finished runners-up in the League Cup and Europa League last season, whilst they’re now battling for a return to the Champions League- and our landlord believes they could win the Premier League in the next few years.
