Liverpool can take the pressure off Firmino by signing this £38m-rated striker in January

Liverpool have made a stunning start to life in the Premier League this time around, with four wins in a row following yesterday’s win over Leicester City.

The Reds look every bit the title challengers this time around, and Jurgen Klopp appears to be finally getting things right with his attacking team looking like they can dominate most teams on their day.

However, up front, with only Roberto Firmino as their main striker, things could well take a turn for the worse if the Brazilian is injured, and we at the Tavern think a new forward should be on the agenda for the Reds come the January window.

One striker we think could be a useful addition for the Anfield club is Italian striker Andrea Belotti, who has been a star for Torino over the course of the last few seasons.

The £38m-rated forward is an excellent number nine, and would be capable of stepping in and filling the void if Firmino was to get an injury.

Money does not seem to be an issue for the Reds in the market, and if things are going well in January, there’s every chance they could well look to someone like Belotti to stengthen the ranks.

A good finisher, excellent movement, and someone who would love to play for a club like Liverpool, Belotti would be a superb addition for the Reds come the winter months.

Liverpool fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
