Two weeks remain of what has been a truly unforgettable Premier League season, and despite there surely being more twists and turns to come before May 11th, the awards season is all but done and dusted.
Sunday night saw Luis Suarez crowned the PFA Player of the Year for 2013/14, for a season which has seen the 27-year-old hit 30 goals in 31 matches to inspire the Reds title challenge.
Eden Hazard was meanwhile crowned the PFA Young Player of the Year, in a season which has seen him hit 17 goals from the wide positions, and manager Jose Mourinho describe him as the best young player in world football.
Suarez and Hazard have been two of the best this season, but there are plenty of others who feel they could have probably should have come away with the top award.
It is a debate that has gone on all weekend in the Football Transfer Tavern, and one which has inspired us to deliver our own Premier League team of the year.
Do you agree with our team of the year? Anybody you feel missed out? Anybody you feel doesn’t deserve their place? Leave your thoughts below.
