Liverpool considering bringing 16-goal winger back to the Premier League

Ben ArfaLiverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are on high spirits today after a crushing victory over Merseyside rivals Everton last night and they’ve gathered around the bar to discuss the latest transfer reports with our landlord.

The Sun indicates that Jurgen Klopp is considering giving Premier League flop Hatem Ben Arfa a third bite of the cherry in English football, after the French international endured an abysmal time with Newcastle United and Hull City.

However, the 29-year-old has rejuvenated his career with OSC Nice this season and has been one of the finest players in Ligue 1, scoring 16 goals in 29 appearances to help push his side towards European football.

Nice currently sit just four points behind Monaco in the race for a Champions League finish and Ben Arfa has been an inspiration to his side, with only Paris Saint-Germain’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette outscoring him in the league.

Ahead of this summer, when Ben Arfa could find himself amongst Didier Deschamps squad for the European Championships, the player has revealed he’s ‘open to all offers’ but Liverpool face competition from both Milan sides and Borussia Dortmund for his signature.

Should Liverpool go all-out to sign this in-form star this summer? Let us know in the comments below!
