Metro have some news that actually distracts Liverpool fans from discussing their FA Cup fifth round draw here in the Football Transfer Tavern.

The publication seem to be under the impression that Brendan Rodgers has set his sights on Atletico Madrid’s Saul Niguez and has even had scouts fly over to Spain in order to watch the starlet in action.

The Spanish Under-21 international has an £8 million buy out clause in his current contract and is currently on loan at Rayo Vallecano from parent club Atletico.
He also notes that the player would be open to a move to the Premier League and is keen to find out exactly how concrete the interest in him is.
