Liverpool determined to sign Thorgan Hazard

Jurgen Klopp has consistently improved Liverpool during his tenure at Anfield, however, he is still going to need to address certain areas of his squad if he is to continue to progress the side. The possibility of back-to-back Champions League finals and a potential Premier League title just show the incredible feat he has managed to achieve this season.

However, as with all clubs, improvements can still be made and it appears the Reds are determined to bring one player to Anfield that could work wonders and strengthen the Merseysiders in a number of excellent ways.

What’s the News?

According to a report by Foot Mercato, Liverpool are determined to bring Thorgan Hazard to Anfield in the summer.

It is claimed that the Reds will have plenty of competition for the Belgium maestro’s signature though, with the Borussia Monchengladbach ace attracting interest from Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, with the Bundesliga outfit thought to be in pole position to win the race.

The Verdict:

Hazard has been remarkable for Monchengladbach this season and it is no surprise that some of Europe’s biggest sides are understood to be keen on him this summer.

The Belgium international has managed to hit 12 goals and provide his team-mates with 11 assists in the Bundesliga so far, which highlights just how good he has become and the attacking threat he can bring to a side.

Liverpool may already have their own dominant forward line, however, adding the 26-year-old to the squad could be exactly what Klopp needs to take his side to another level as they constantly improve year-on-year.

Hazard is exceptionally gifted with the ball at his feet as he can run past defenders with ease, whilst he has proven he can create and score the chances that are created, making him a nightmare for the opposition’s players to deal with.

His vision and ability would help to provide Klopp with some extra bite and crunch within the middle of the field, whilst he can also be rather inventive when it comes down to having possession of the ball, which could make the manager’s system work wonders at Anfield – more so than it already does.
