Liverpool fans will be delighted with how their summer transfer window has panned out thus far as they’ve already managed to welcome a number of world-class players to the club.
Indeed, the Reds enjoyed one of their best seasons in recent years last time out as they reached the Champions League final and secured a place in the top-four. And, it looks as if Jurgen Klopp is looking to go one better next time round, as according to Milliyet, Liverpool officials are planning to fly out to Turkey in a bid to complete a deal for Besiktas star Domagoj Vida.
Jurgen Klopp is keen to continue improving his backline with Besiktas defender Vida on his wishlist.
The Croatian was one of the standout performers at the World Cup as he helped his home country reach the final and put in a classy performance against England.
His current club Besiktas are reportedly demanding £26.8 million (€30 million) for his sale, with Liverpool officials expected in Istanbul in the coming days to thrash out a deal.
So, it looks as if Jurgen Klopp is looking to splash even more cash as he edges closer to another stunning deal in the form of Domagoj Vida, having already secured the services of Alisson earlier on this week.
Liverpool supporters will be stunned that their side are finally looking to invest in all the right areas, with cash being splashed left, right and centre.
Indeed, the Reds may find themselves in pole position for the Premier League title if they manage to land the Croatian this summer, as he has already shown that he can handle some of the world’s best attackers at the World Cup.
Liverpool are still looking for the perfect partner for Virgil Van Dijk as Dejan Lovren is still prone to errors, but they may have finally found their man as Vida could become a Red in the near future.
