Liverpool eye move for French midfielder with Henderson future in doubt

KondogbiaLiverpool fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are concerned who will line up for them next season after the Daily Mail revealed that they are keeping tabs on Monaco’s exciting midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia.

The 22-year-old has featured for France three times and is one of the most coveted players in Europe.

Kondogbia has now got a lot of first team experience following his move from Sevilla in 2013 as he has gone on to make 23 appearances so far this season.

Initially he struggled to fit into life at Monaco, but since he has rediscovered his form he has caught the attention of the Liverpool scouts.

He cost Monaco £17m so Liverpool will not be able to get him on the cheap, but if they are to lose Jordan Henderson, they could put that money towards signing Kondogbia.

The youngster caught the eye of many punters in the Champions League after he was a stand out performer in their triumph over Arsenal.

Liverpool fans. Do you think if you lost Jordan Henderson the club should target another youngster? Let us know your thoughts below.
