Loads of Liverpool fans have been buzzing about the performance of goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher in the club’s 4-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Sunday.
Kelleher had started between the sticks for the second time in a row in all competitions for the Reds. He had also been the goalkeeper in their recent 1-0 win over Dutch giants Ajax and he had managed to keep a cleansheet in that game as well (as per Transfermarkt).
Do you think Kelleher has replaced Adrian as Liverpool's second-choice goalkeeper?
The dominant win helped the Reds go level on points with league leaders Tottenham, who are still at the top of the table due to their superior goal difference (as per BBC Sport).
Having said that, Kelleher’s performance left many Liverpool fans raving about the Irishman. They took to Twitter and made their opinions clear about the 22-year-old, with one fan joking that Bournemouth will already be eyeing up a move, given their past signings of the likes of Dominic Solanke and Jordon Ibe.

He’s so much better than Adrian, boy has a bright future if he keeps up these performances

He actually reminds me of Allison in the way he moves, how calm he is and his distribution. He’s clearly learnt a lot from his master.

100%. Incredible that third choice keeper makes no noise the entire game. 22 yr old in one of the best teams in Europe and no one noticed. Stellar.

Didn’t put a foot wrong

Kelleher’s performances have been shockingly good. A Liverpool keeper has to stay focused despite a lot of inactivity which takes maturity and experience. There was no indication he was ready for this but Queev has just been mustard on both outings…

Bournemouth will be licking their lips.
