Liverpool: Fans discuss transfer update on Issa Diop
Many Liverpool fans have been discussing the club’s links with a move to sign West Ham central defender Issa Diop.
West Ham insider ExWHUemployee has recently reported about Liverpool’s interest in signing Diop, saying that they are one of the other clubs who are interested in the French central defender. The insider has said that Diop’s situation in East London is currently uncertain and Liverpool are looking to take advantage of his situation at the London Stadium.

ExWHUemployee has claimed that while David Moyes still rates the French defender, Jurgen Klopp sees Diop as a player that the Reds should sign. Moyes still feels that Diop has a ‘big future’ at the East London side as they consider the 23-year-old unsellable. He is currently valued at £22.50m.
Manchester United have previously been linked with a move for the defender and they were looking to sign him in 2019. It was reported that they were willing to pay £45 million plus a player for the former Toulouse star (as per Sky Sports).
Diop has made only three Premier League appearances this season, but last season he had made 35 appearances in all competitions for the Hammers.
An update about the defender was relayed on Twitter by Anfield Edition and it caught the attention of many Liverpool fans, who made their opinion clear about Diop.
