Question marks remain about whether or not midfielder Marko Grujic has a future at Liverpool.
The 23-year-old has had to spend time away from Anfield on loan. He initially joined Cardiff City for the second half of the 2017/18 season, before then moving to Hertha BSC.
He is now embarking on his second season with the Bundesliga club, and given that he has been out of the fold for so long now many Reds fans probably thought that his career at the European champions was over.
However, in a live Q&A on The Athletic, Liverpool-based journalist James Pearce claimed that Grujic could still have a future at Anfield. He said: “[Jurgen] Klopp rates Grujic highly. He has a genuine chance of being part of the Liverpool squad for the 2020/21 season.
“Klopp was delighted with his development at Hertha last season and was keen to ensure he played regularly again this season.”
In fairness, the former Red Star Belgrade man has actually made a good start to the season in Germany. Indeed he has started all five of their games and scored two goals from midfield already, including a strike to help his team draw 2-2 with Bayern Munich.
And, Liverpool supporters seem to think that the Serbia international has a future at Anfield. Here is what some of them have been saying…
I’m saying he will end up a very good centre half and will replace lovren

I think he is better than hendo and Milly when it comes goal scoring.
In double 6 role with fabinho could be really good partnership for long time will free up Keita and ox and they could concentrate on the attack side of things
