Many Liverpool fans have flocked to the latest tweet from James Pearce that recently emerged on social media, looking at their Champions League draw.
Pearce’s latest tweet concerned Liverpool’s opponents for the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League. The draw revealed that Jurgen Klopp’s men will lock horns with Julian Nagelsmann’s RB Leipzig in the next round of the competition.
The Reds had been drawn in a group which had Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta, Erik ten Hag’s Ajax and Brian Priske’s Midtjylland. They had lost to Atalanta and were held by Midtjylland in the last game of the group stages. They had won the rest of the games (as per UEFA.com).

Klopp’s men had been knocked out of the competition in the Round of 16 last season, following a loss to Atletico Madrid. As for Leipzig, they had reached the semi-finals last season and ended up losing to French giants Paris Saint-Germain.
Pearce’s tweet about Liverpool’s draw for the Round of 16 drew the attention of many Reds fans. They gave their opinion about the draw.
