Some Liverpool supporters have been hailing left-back Kostas Tsimikas after one brilliant moment in the Reds' weekend victory over Burnley.

Jurgen Klopp's side eased to a 2-0 win at home to the Clarets on Saturday, making it two victories in a row to start the 2021/22 Premier League season. Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane got the goals for Liverpool, who were roared on by a full Anfield crowd for the first time since March 2020.

Various Reds players impressed on the day, but Tsimikas was arguably Man of the Match, producing an influential performance at left-back.

The Greece international has filled in admirably for Andy Robertson in the last couple of games and one moment late on in Saturday's win lived long in the memory.

As shown in a clip from @FootballAddick on Twitter, Tsimikas tussled for the ball with two Burnley players, showing great fight and eventually coming away with possession, much to the delight of those present.
