Jurgen Klopp has been extremely reluctant to throw Fabinho in for his full debut so far this season. The Brazilian has been at the club for almost six months having signed back in May and now it looks like Klopp will finally be starting him seeing as he confirmed Naby Keita and Jordan Henderson are out via the Liverpool website.

Keita and Henderson have both had more minutes that Fabinho this season and it will be a breath of fresh air to see the Brazilian starting against Red Star Belgrade later. Champions League nights at Anfield are always special and for Fabinho it will be a superb game for him to make his full debut in. The fans won’t be nervous about the ex-Monaco man’s debut after his performance from the bench against Huddersfield and it looks they’re buzzing for it.
The season so far has seen Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum used in the holding midfield spot of Liverpool’s midfield three and there’s no way that Fabinho will settle for being a squad player. When he’s ready tactically and Klopp has full faith in him then he simply has to start. His performances across the channel in France were sublime and had some of Europe’s top clubs lining up to sign him, now it’s time for him to show them what they missed out on when he signed at Anfield.
